Label TextThis print is part of "CA Collages," a series that celebrates Indigenous California and the coastal community of the Tongva in Los Angeles. In this series, scenes within scenes overlap and watercolor paintings inspired by traditional marks and lines are combined with collages. The final product is an inkjet print of blended mediums, imagery and eras; something that builds compressed moments in time and look towards the future. These works oversee the land, reclaiming a place real and often mythologized.
