Sam Erenberg

Sam Erenberg currently lives and works in Santa Monica California. Erenberg completed his M.F.A. at the University of California, Santa Barbara in 1976. He has been selected for numerous fellowships and grants, the most recent being the COLA grant, city of Los Angeles in 2010. Erenberg began displaying his work in solo exhibitions in 1970, with his most current exhibition being in 2014. In addition to painting Erenerg has created artist’s books, films, installations, works on paper, public art, and writings. Erenberg uses intense color exploring the relationship between the visual and textual, corporeality and representation.
