Jerome Kirk

BiographyJerome Kirk received his BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1951. Initially influenced by artist Alexander Calder, Kirk has created kinetic sculptures that move in graceful, gentle rhythms as if orchestrated by an unheard musical arrangement. Additional public artworks by Kirk include: Quest (1968) in Redondo Beach, Aprovoid (1982) in Beverly Hills, Light Wave (1982) and Random Rods (1988) at Chapman University in Orange, and Avion (1986) at the Koll Center in Irvine.
