Roger Weik
Roger Weik was born on March 10, 1949 in Chicago, Illinois, United States.
Roger Weik received his B.S. in Fine Arts and Art Education from Southern Illinois University in 1971. In 1973 he earned his Master of Fine Arts in Painting from the same university.
Roger Weik took part in a number of exhibitions in the United States, including “Juried Small Works Exhibition” at the Bakersfield Museum of Art in Bakersfield, California in 2007 and “Incognito” at the Naples Museum of Art in Naples, Florida in 2011.
Weik is best known for his abstract works, including "Number 140", "Suspicion" and "The Path". Weik was awarded the K-14 Teaching Scholarship to Southern Illinois University.
