Kris Chatterson
BiographyKris Chatterson is a painter living and working in New York City. Prior to living in New York, he resided in Los Angeles where he was inspired by surf culture. His debut solo show was in June 2006 with Western Project who represents him in Los Angeles. While living in LA, Kris participated in a variety of group shows in southern California such as “(Keep Feeling) Fascination: Recent Abstract Painting in Los Angeles,” Luckman Gallery, California State University, Los Angeles. Curated by Julie Joice.
Upon moving to New York Kris has participated in various group shows including "I Wanna Be Somewhere" curated by Jon Lutz and ABCyz with HKJB.
Kris received a BFA from Ringling School of Art and Design in 2002 and a MFA from Claremont Graduate University in 2004.
